Preferably, have doctor, nurse or physical therapist measure for size. Note: measure hips and add 1" on each side for width. Measure from the lowest part of the back of the chair, while sitting, to the bend in the knees, and subtract 2" for depth. Ideal leg length is 2" clearance between foot pedals and floor. Use a chair that is relatively easy for the user to get in and out of, even with help, to find a comfortable seat height (measure from floor to bottom of seat).
