I am about to travel on an airplane -- will they take my cane away? The security people know you have to be allowed to keep your cane and cannot confiscate it unless you give them good reason to. It has to be inspected like everything else you bring aboard. Don't be hesitant about telling them you need to sit down or be supported while they have your cane. A folding cane is the easiest to travel with because it folds up into the pocket in front of you on the plane. It fits nicely in a suitcase you check through, also.
Help! My cane was lost/stolen, and I am far from home. Can you send me a replacement? Quickly?? Yes -- be prepared to give me the address you want it sent to, including any special instructions. It is Mountain Time here in Colorado, so I need to get the order to me before noon, MST, in order to to send it to you the same day, USPS Express, or FEDEX Overnight, or whatever works best for where you're at. Be aware the shipping charges could cost more than the replacement cane! And yes, I have been known to send canes to international addresses, so long as the customer has a USA bank-based credit card or Paypal account to charge it all to. I will do my best for you, but cannot guarantee overnight delivery.
I need a walker that is easy to travel with - do you know of any? The Steppin' Classy Walkers we sell are adjustable and can fold easily, taking up little space. You could send it on an airplane, boxed, or keep it in your cruise ship cabin, or mail it ahead to your destination. Then you can mail it back to yourself! Or, you can ask me to mail it to your vacation destination when you purchase it ... if out of country, plan ahead for ground delivery taking a week or so, as that keeps shipping costs down. We aim to please our customers!
