Folding Seat Canes & Seat Sticks

Folding Canes with a Seat

A seat cane is a walking cane that unfolds into a small seat, so you can sit down wherever the line, the parade route or the golf course takes you. Fold it shut and it carries like an ordinary cane.

Which seat cane is right for you?

• Tripod and quad seat canes: three or four legs open into a stable perch. The folding quad seat cane is rated to 250 lbs, and the adjustable tri seat cane adds a padded handle and is rated to 225 lbs.
• Lightweight sport seat cane: the sport seat cane is our lightest option, rated to 250 lbs.
• Leather saddle seat sticks: the traditional shooting-stick style, with a leather saddle on a single shaft, for golf, the races and field days. See the adjustable leather saddle seat stick.

Seat Cane FAQ

Can I walk with a seat cane like a regular cane?

Tripod and quad seat canes fold flat and walk like a standard cane. Leather saddle seat sticks are built mainly as a portable perch, not an everyday walking cane.

How much weight does a seat cane hold?

Each listing shows its weight rating. Our seat canes are rated from 225 to 250 lbs.

Will it fit in my car or carry-on?

Yes. Every seat cane here folds to a single slim shaft that fits easily in a trunk or back seat.
